Beyond Alt Text moves accessibility out of the IT/dev function and into the rest of the organization. Each episode leads with business strategy — risk, cost, accountability — rather than opening with WCAG or technical checklists, because that framing gets non-technical people on board faster. It's built for individual contributors and entry-level leaders who are often the sole accessibility champion at their org, and want to bring others into the conversation rather than carry it alone.
Jacob Wood
Jacob Wood is the founder of Growth for ALL, where his work sits at the intersection of accessibility, learning, and leadership. He brings his lived experience as a blind screen reader user to the work he does, which includes helping organizations make accessibility a natural part of how they lead. Jacob uses systems thinking and a natural curiosity to solve systemic issues and improve how teams work through training and change management, rather than simply fixing immediate issues and putting out fires.
Dr. Nicole L'Etoile, CPACC
Dr. Nicole L'Etoile, Ed.D., CPACC is the founder of L'Etoile Education, a full-service digital accessibility organization. L'Etoile Education audits, remediates, and trains across digital content and online learning to help organizations meet WCAG standards and build inclusive learning experiences. Nicole leads comprehensive accessibility audits of e-Learning, LMS courses, and training materials, and supports teams in designing and remediating content so it works for all users. She also facilitates accessibility training for Instructional Designers and Learning and Development professionals, focused on building and sustaining accessible learning at scale.
